The Federation of Faroese Industries consists of enterprises, which for instance employs carpenters, plumbers, painters, shipbuilders, mechanics, electricians and etc.

The Federation was founded in 1957 as an association of six local federations. The Federation is member of the Faroese Employer Association and this membership is automatically inherited to every individual enterprise, which is a member of the Federation or one of its local subdivisions.
